Observation times in the Southern sky: Oct. 1—10 p.m.; Oct. 15—9 p.m.; Nov. 1—8 p.m.; Nov. 15—7 p.m. Depending on the season, you can locate a large number of constellations with the aid of the North Star if you follow the connecting lines shown in the illustration on the next page.
